Fall Festivals Are Upon Us!
This week our kiddos will have PLENTY of opportunities to wear their halloween outfits and costumes as we have many more festival and parties for this week. Last night, Noelle went to a Fall Festival at the church where she attends preschool, Central United Methodist in Rogers. She had sooooo much fun and got to eat popcorn, hot dogs, chips, lemonade. She played losts of games (which one is the bobbing for chocolate covered marshmallows as in the picture we included), played in the bouncy house, hayride, and more crafts.

I had to share this!
A college/sorority sister, Janet Shaufele, shared these pics with me on Facebook. They were taken in 1992 during this time of year. The first one is of several of my friends dressed up during Halloween... I was the beer belly cowboy in the center. Below is a pic of Janet and I during rush week at our sorority house... I think we were 20 yrs old at that time. However, look at the hideous dresses they made us wear... eek. Anyway... just so funny!
Happy Halloween!
It took several trips but we finally got a picture of these two... the only one that turned out but it was too funny not to pass up. Leah would NOT cooperate and just kept clinging to me... I got the idea this last time to leave the store and walk the mall... they said within 2 minutes of me leaving, she instantly jumped on Noelle's back and started laughing so they snapped and got a pic of her. They even got a few individual pics of them. When I came back, Leah run and attached herself to my leg again... ok, a bit of a mommy's girl right now. However, we got Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck together at last.

Little Rock Air Force Base Air Show
We enjoyed part of the Air show this weekend in Jacksonville, AR. Noelle got autographs from a Blue Angel Pilot and spoke to other pilots too. Like all good Mommies, I pushed my children in the direction towards all the cute pilots. Noelle in typical fashion has been talking non-stop about how do planes work, how do they get in the air, what is under their hood, etc. I swear this kid will be an engineer... she always wants to tear things apart and see how they work. She asked a pilot how fast his plane goes, and he said, "faster than the speed of sound"... Noelle looked confused and I told her faster than her mouth can move... and her eyes got so big and she started to laugh... I think she got it.
Pumpkin Patch
Noelle, Leah, Mama, Daddy, Mimi and Papa went to a pumpkin patch this past Saturday and everyone had so much fun! Noelle and Leah climbed on hay bales, went through a corn maze, played on tractors, looked at farm animals and got to pick out their own pumpkins. They even got Mama and Daddy on a hay ride.

Noelle got to join the big girls in Elizabeth's 8th birthday party at Justice for Girls. She had soo much fun and stayed the night at the slumber party. At Justice, they had their hair done, played games and pick out neat girly stuff from the store. Later at the slumber party, I heard their was pillow fights, dancing, and pizza!
