Found Papa a new tractor!

Move over Cookie Monster... we have a Milkshake Monster!

Nobody believed me but Leah LOVES milkshakes. Last week, we travelled with Mimi and Papa to see our cousin, Christopher, get married. We stopped at a Mickey D's in southern GA and Papa got a large vanilla shake to share with the girls. You can see the size of the cup. Well, Leah got a hold of a drink and it was all over from there. No brain-freeze for this kid, she would not take a breath and drank nearly all the milkshake. We HAD to take it away so Papa and Noelle could get a few drinks!

We had such a good time in Georgia. We saw all our wonderful Aunts, Uncles and many cousins that live over there... who we hardly ever get to see! It was a great trip and a nice wedding. I was so busy keeping up with the girls, that I did not get any video or pics ( and took all my cameras)... bad mommy! I am going to regret missing all those memories on their first road trip with Mimi and Papa. Noelle is still telling everyone, "I travelled to 5 states in one day" and she loves to ask Daddy, "have you ever travelled to 5 states in one day?".

Washington County Fair Time!

Doug and the kids pose with their favorite cow at the county fair! I missed the shot of when Doug sat on another hay bail for this pic and it was too soft to hold him and he rolled off into the cow's area. I laughed so hard that I cried. That cow looked at him like "what the heck you doing in here"!!! Classic!

Ms. Sheila's Calf

Mommy ran into Ms. Sheila Pierson, who she worked with some years back, and her son's were showing a calf at the Washington County Fair. They let Noelle and Leah pet it. Leah almost jumped out of her chair... we finally found something that scares our fearless baby... hehe... I should not laugh but you should have seen her reaction when the calf turned its head and made a noise at Leah! Noelle found it funny and suprisingly did fine with it! I wish the video was running when it happened... but we did get a little snipit of their interaction with it. As you can see, Leah is not terribly interested!

Who is more excited, Noelle or Doug? Too bad they did not have one for Daddy's size, he might have joined in!

White Water

We are all going to White Water for the last time this summer on August 23rd. But I wanted to include pics from our last trip. Leah hates her swim jacket but she can upgrade next year after she turns 2. I thought she looked cute in it! Of course, Noelle is used to her by now but she wanted the orange one this time... she always wants the pink one??? I am ready for fall!!!!!

What a weird dress up party!

Auntie M kept Elizabeth quite a bit this summer. Noelle and her loved to play dress up... but this day was very weird. They usually put on my clothes and shoes but instead Noelle put on her leotard for gymnastics, her snowboots and elizabeth was sporting a red cowboy hat... anyway, you can look at the picture and see this weird get-up.
